Waikiki Beach, Oahu: The most famous of beaches on Oahu has been made popular in movies, TV and of course competitions.  Beach side condos and hotels make this a prime vacation destination.  Crystal clear waters, beautiful sandy beaches and convenient to hotels, cabanas and beach amenities it is often the most popular for families traveling.

Ko ‘Olina Bay:  About a half hour from downtown Honolulu, Ko ‘Olina Bay is the home to several resorts, and a few great public beaches and bays.  This is a much more secluded area that has great small lagoons and bays perfect for younger kids to play in the water.  Make sure to read the signs to know which bays are open to the public, but don’t miss out on this great place to enjoy your vacation.

North Shore, Oahu:  North Shore takes up a ton of great beach on the island.  Not only are the best food trucks and taco trucks along this stretch of beach, you can find the best waves and views here as well.  Great for surfing, watching the turtles come in, or relaxing for a romantic sunset.  Great for families, but always be aware of where the public bathrooms are as they are much more sporadic on these beaches.
